Medical Overview
Meet Vijay Raju Thakare, an 11-year-old boy from a small village in Nashik, Maharashtra. Vijay is a cheerful and bright child whose life has taken a tragic turn — he has been diagnosed with Relapsed Hodgkin Lymphoma (Blood Cancer).
Doctors at NAMCO Hospital (S.S.G.S. Cancer Hospital), Nashik, have advised an urgent Bone Marrow Transplant along with supportive care.
Without this treatment, Vijay’s chances of survival are very low — but with timely help, he can recover and live a healthy, happy life again.
FAMILY IN CRISIS
Vijay’s father, Mr. Raju Kashinath Thakare, is a daily-wage labourer, and his mother is a homemaker.
The family survives on an annual income of just ₹48,000, as per the government-issued income certificate.
With such meagre means, arranging ₹10,00,000 (Ten Lakhs) for life-saving treatment is far beyond their reach. Despite their efforts, the family stands helpless and is appealing for support to save their only child.

Born extremely premature at just 1.475 kg, this little warrior is facing multiple life-threatening conditions including:

Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS)

Necrotising Enterocolitis (NEC)
He is currently admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and requires ventilator support, oxygen therapy, lifesaving medications, and round-the-clock critical care.
Family in Crisis
His father, Mr. Abhijit Bhupal Pawar, a resident of Kolhapur, earns just ₹1,50,000 annually. Despite working tirelessly to support his family, the cost of saving his baby’s life has become unbearable. The family has exhausted all savings and has no financial support left.
