The baby boy was born weighing 1.6 kg and has been diagnosed with Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS), Early-Onset Sepsis, and Septic Shock. He requires ventilator support, surfactant therapy, intensive medicines, and round-the-clock neonatal care. According to the treating doctors, both babies require prolonged NICU hospitalization, ventilator and respiratory support, surfactant therapy, critical care medicines, laboratory investigations, radiology, and continuous neonatal monitoring. Their conditions are serious, and uninterrupted specialized treatment is essential to help them survive, recover, and grow stronger.

The twins belong to a financially vulnerable family. Their father, Sachin Patil, works as a daily wage worker with an irregular income and earns only enough to meet the family’s basic day-to-day needs. Every missed day of work means another day without earnings. Their mother, Arati Patil, is a homemaker who is recovering from childbirth while carrying the emotional burden of seeing both of her newborn babies in intensive care.
