Baby Boy of Sangita Dnyaneshwar Khorate, a 1-month-old newborn, is fighting for his life in the NICU at Sai Sparsh Children’s Hospital, Kolhapur.
He was admitted on 02 November 2025 in a severe and critical condition.

Born at just 32 weeks, this fragile newborn weighs only 1.4 kg and is suffering from life-threatening complications:

• Severe Preterm Birth Complications
• Very Low Birth Weight (VLBW)
• Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS)
• Clinical Sepsis
• Necrotising Enterocolitis (NEC)
• Requires IV antibiotics, IV fluids, and continuous NICU monitoring
• Needs prolonged NICU stay for survival

Doctors confirm that he requires multiple weeks of advanced neonatal care to stabilise his breathing, immunity, and vital functions.

FAMILY BACKGROUND

Baby’s father, Mr. Dnyaneshwar Khorate, works as a labourer with an annual income of just ₹80,000, as verified by the government income certificate.

With such minimal earnings, the family cannot afford the huge cost of NICU treatment required to save their newborn twins.
They are emotionally and financially exhausted, struggling every day to keep their children alive.
