About Sumit’s Educational Journey
Sumit Prabhakar Chitte is a determined and hardworking student currently completing his final year of B.Com from Rajmata Jijau Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Bhosari, Pune. Orphaned at a young age, he has lived at Matruchaya Balak Ashram since 2017 — a home that became his anchor after losing his father in 2015.
Raised in the village of Bindgihal, Latur, Sumit’s life changed drastically after tragedy struck his family. With no financial support, he chose to persevere through pain, poverty, and loneliness to pursue his education with sincerity and resilience.
Despite all odds, Sumit has completed his graduation with distinction. Now, he has secured admission to the Online MBA (Master of Business Administration) program at D.Y. Patil University, Navi Mumbai. His long-term goal is to become a Chartered Accountant and MBA graduate — but financial constraints now stand in the way of that dream.

My name is Sumit Prabhakar Chitte, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce (3rd Year) at Rajmata Jijau Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Landewadi Bhosari. Since 2017, I have been staying at Matruchaya Balak Ashram, an orphanage that has been my home and support system. My journey began in Bindgihal village, Latur, where I lived with my family until the tragic passing of my father in 2015 after a short illness.
Despite the hardships I’ve faced, I have always remained focused on my goal of becoming a Chartered Accountant. However, my dreams are now at risk due to financial constraints. I am unable to pay my college fees, which amount to ₹22,000, and without this payment, I fear my education may come to an abrupt halt.
