Miss Ananya Vikas Karad, just 9 years old, is a bright and cheerful girl from Hadapsar, Pune. But behind her smile is a serious and life-threatening heart condition — Situs Solitus with Severe Aortic Stenosis.

Doctors at Jehangir Hospital, Pune have urgently recommended a Balloon Aortic Valvotomy, a delicate heart procedure that can save her life by restoring proper blood flow through her heart. The surgery is scheduled for 22nd June 2025, or earlier if her health worsens.

FAMILY BACKGROUND

Ananya’s father, Mr. Vikas Karad, is a daily wage labourer earning just ₹72,000 a year. The family lives in Hadapsar, Pune, and has no savings or way to afford the cost of this critical procedure.

They are doing everything they can — but now they are turning to kind strangers for help. Anekaa Care Foundation is working to raise the full cost of her surgery at a concessional rate.
