Medical Overview

Baby boy of Mrs. Priti & Mr. Abhijit Sase from Kolhapur was born on 4th September 2025 at just 28 weeks of pregnancy, weighing only 1.2 kg. Immediately after birth, he was admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Sai Sparsh Children’s Hospital, Kolhapur.

The baby is fighting multiple complications and is currently on:

• Ventilator support & oxygen therapy

• IV fluids and antibiotics

• Treatment for Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS) & Clinical Sepsis

Doctors have advised at least 40 more days of NICU care for survival.

The baby’s father, Mr. Abhijit Sase, works in a small shop, earning only ₹60,000 annually. With such a limited income, the family is already struggling with daily expenses and cannot afford the huge medical costs. Without external help, the treatment cannot continue.
