MEDICAL OVERVIEW

Baby Girl of Mrs. Sangita Dnyaneshwar Khorate, born on 13 October 2025, is currently fighting for her life in the NICU at Sai Sparsh Children’s Hospital, Kolhapur.

She was admitted on 02 November 2025 in a critical condition, suffering from:

• Preterm birth at 32 weeks
• Extremely Low Birth Weight – 940 gm (880 gm at admission)
• Clinical Sepsis
• Necrotising Enterocolitis
• Severe complications requiring continuous NICU support
• IV antibiotics & IV fluids
• Need of 45 days of intensive neonatal care

Doctors have confirmed that her survival depends on prolonged NICU care, constant monitoring, and advanced medical support.

FAMILY BACKGROUND

Her father, Mr. Dnyaneshwar Khorate, works as a labourer and has an annual income of only ₹80,000
(verified as per the official Income Certificate issued by Tehsildar Chandgad).

With such limited income, the family is completely unable to manage NICU medical expenses and urgently requires financial help to save their newborn.

TOTAL COST REQUIRED

The hospital has estimated that 45 days of NICU care will cost:

• NICU charges

• IV fluids

• IV antibiotics

• Laboratory tests

• Oxygen support

The cost is far beyond what the family can afford.
