Medical Overview
A 10-day-old newborn baby girl, born as a preterm twin, is currently fighting for her life in the NICU at NAMCO Hospital, Nashik. She is suffering from multiple critical neonatal complications including Very Low Birth Weight (VLBW), sepsis, pneumonia, internal bleeding, and nasal bleeding. Doctors have advised immediate and continuous critical neonatal care, as any interruption in NICU support could place her life in serious danger.
Family Background
The baby belongs to a financially very weak family. Her father works as a welder on daily wages, while her mother is a housewife. The parents are first-time caregivers blessed with twin babies, and the family’s annual income is approximately ₹60,000 as per the Tahsildar income certificate. With no savings and extremely limited means, the parents are completely unable to bear the mounting medical expenses. While one twin is currently stable, this newborn continues to struggle every moment to survive.
