About the Case
A 1-year-old baby boy, born on 18th March 2024, is currently fighting for his life at Sai Sparsh Children’s Hospital in Kolhapur. He is suffering from serious health complications and urgently needs Colostomy Closure Surgery. The baby was admitted to the hospital on 3rd April 2025, and doctors have recommended surgery within the next 3–4 weeks.

He is currently receiving intensive care, including oxygen support, IV medications, and fluid therapy. The medical team is doing their best to stabilize his condition, but financial limitations are putting his life at serious risk.

Family Background
The baby’s father, Mr. Ramrao Uttam Chavan, is a daily wage laborer from Sangli, Maharashtra, earning only ₹45,000 per year. With limited resources and no savings left, the family is unable to bear the cost of this critical, life-saving treatment.
