Born prematurely at just 30–32 weeks, the baby girl of Mrs. Ashwini Patharvat entered the world too soon — weighing only 1.8 kg.
Since 10th October 2025, she has been admitted to the NICU at Sai Sparsh Children’s Hospital, Kolhapur, battling for her life against multiple critical complications.
She has been diagnosed with Necrotising Enterocolitis (NEC), a life-threatening intestinal infection often seen in premature babies, along with Low Birth Weight (LBW) and respiratory distress.
Currently, the baby is on IV antibiotics, IV fluids, and continuous NICU support. Doctors have advised 10–15 more days of intensive monitoring and treatment to stabilize her fragile condition.
The baby’s father works as a daily wage labourer, earning only ₹40,000 annually (as per the government income certificate). The family lives in extreme financial hardship and has no other source of support.
With medical bills already crossing ₹2,75,080, and an estimated ₹70,000 ₹80,000 more required, the family is helpless and unable to meet the hospital expenses needed to save their newborn.
Current Bill (till now)₹2,75,080/-
Additional NICU & Medical Expenses₹70,000 – ₹80,000/-
Total Estimated Expense₹3,55,080/
