When Baby Vaishnvi Vishal Narute was born on 06/10/2025, she weighed only 1.72 kg and arrived pre-term at 34–36 weeks through LSCS. Within minutes of birth, she developed severe respiratory distress, tachypnea, subcostal and intercostal retractions, and was immediately shifted to the NICU.She required CPAP support, IV fluids, and NICU monitoring. Over the next few days, her condition worsened as investigations revealed Klebsiella sepsis and high suspicion of necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC). She was started on multiple IV antibiotics, antifungals, supportive care, strict monitoring, and exclusive breast-milk feeding.Gradually, Vaishnvi began responding to treatment. Her distress reduced, CPAP was tapered off, and she started maintaining oxygen on room air. Serial investigations, including CBC, CRP, renal profile, LFT, cultures, neurosonography, and abdominal ultrasound, were continuously reviewed. Her USG reports showed no major abnormalities, and her vitals remained stable.By 11/11/2025, Vaishnvi had gained weight (now 2.1 kg), was maintaining saturation on room air, feeding well, and was clinically stable. She was finally discharged with advice for continued exclusive breastfeeding, vitamin supplementation, jaundice monitoring, and early pediatric follow-up.This recovery was only possible because of your kindness.
